Hard Work Does Pay Off

The fact that it is June and almost July right now is really something else. Six months have gone by in such a whirlwind. During this time we were able to have a successful event with Brides Against Breast Cancer. We were able to sell over 20 gowns and raise money for the organization. It was a wonderful experience and the best part is they're coming back to our great city and we get to do it again this fall in November. With the work we did with them, we now have the privilege of now being a preferred vendor with Brides Against Breast Cancer.

We also had the pleasure of planning a very intimate dinner for two. We were able to plan it all in a very short period of time (9 days to be exact) and they both loved the outcome. From the personal chef to the stringed duo, the evening turned out great. Our very own Juanita Michelle planned and executed the elegant and fabulous place settings and decor.  

 All the while we were planning these events and doing things to help promote our business, something great happened. We won an award! We were selected to received the 2014 Kansas City Award in the Event Planner category by the Kansas City Award Program. Out of all the planners that are in the city, we were chosen for this year. What an honor and a blessing to have whoever it was in our community to nominate us and then for us to be chosen.

Never give up on your dream - Even if it takes longer than you would like by weeks, months or even years. Keep working your passion and doing what you love because you never know when what you do will bet noticed by the right people. This award was not sought after, but was given to us by our community. No matter how big or small your events may be, you making a difference can put you in some wonderful positions.

Hello 2014!

Happy New Year!! We are almost done with the first week of 2014. Last year in 2013 we made some awesome progress and met some wonderful people. Through connecting with people we have some exciting things going on. God is blessing us and we are thankful. We were able to revamp our website and have that up. Click HERE to check us out and see our new look. We are also expanding our services to incorporate a new venture and rebranding our image. This is a year of new beginnings.

We will also be trying to bring you more blog topics on various aspects of weddings and other social events. Be looking out for these fun topics.

We are working to make our 2014 better than 2013. It's all a progress and we are excited!
