It's Been 10 Years..Let's Do It Again!

One idea that has been gaining steam have been vow renewals. People have been doing them for the past few years we've been in business. Matter of fact, one of our first clients was a couple renewing their vows.

There are a lot of different angles you can take with these ceremonies. It truly depends on how big or how small you want it to be. You can have just a little family gathering in your backyard with your family and closest friends. Your "bridesmaids and groomsmen" could be your children, siblings or best friend. Or you can decide to have an all out wedding. People usually choose this option if when they initially got married it was very simple. Maybe they went to the courthouse and got married by the Justice of the Peace, or one day you decided you'd like to be married in your Pastor's office. Whatever option that is chosen it can be something amazing and special that can help you reaffirm your commitment to your significant other.

There a couple of websites I've come across that can be very helpful in deciding what type of event you would like to have. One that I liked in particular is "I Do Still". This website a wide range of information to help give you ideas from attire to what the husband can do to help plan. Find out more information by clicking the picture below.

'Tis The Season

It is so hard to believe that in a week we will be celebrating another Thanksgiving Day. The year has gone by so fast that if you blink too long, you would miss it. This is usually the time of year when families get together for the traditional 3 F's (Family, Food and Football) there's nothing a full day of eating and sleeping!

A couple of years ago, I did a blog post on Thanksgiving alternatives. I thought it would be appropriate to comb through the archives and share the information again. These ideas can help you when you are planning your menu whether it before a big family or whether it is just for you.  If you are going to be alone this year, consider doing something to help you get through the day. The main thing that I can think of is to volunteer. Use this day to be thankful you are able to help others. Look at local websites to see where shelters, food banks, or other places may be in need of assistance in feeding the community. It will be very rewarding and you can help families though you may not be around your own. Even if you do have your family close by, consider asking them to join you. It will help make the day even more special.
